Program DatesList Item 1
Erie Catholic's Summer Care Program runs from Monday, June 23rd through Friday, August 15th 2025. You may register by the week or for the duration of the program. Weekly themes for this year's program include:
- Week 1 (June 23-27): Art and Music
- Week 2 (June 30 - July 3): Disney
- Week 3 (July 7-11): Health Foods
- Week 4 (July 14-18): Sports
- Week 5 (July 21 - 25): Animals and Ecology
- Week 6 (July 28 - Aug 1): Space
- Week 7 (Aug 4 - 8): Beach
- Week 8 (Aug 11-15): Camping
Preschool through Kindgarten field trip days include special programming on site. First through fifth graders travel off site for field trips once a week.

For 2025, summer care program will be available at Saint James School Campus on Buffalo Road and Our Lady of Peace School Campus on West 38th Street.

The Erie Catholic Summer Program runs Monday through Friday. Drop off begins at 7:30am. Pick up must be no later than 5:30pm.

Age RestrictionsList Item 4
Our summer care program is for three year olds through rising fifth graders. Please note that your child must be three by July 1st and potty trained to enroll in the summer care program.

Rates
The weekly rates are as follow:
- First Child: $225/week
- Second Child: $200/week
- Third Child: $175/week
- Fourth Child: $150/week
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and field trips are included in the weekly rate.

Meals
NEW THIS YEAR: Breakfast, lunch, and snack will be provided.
- Breakfast: Served at 8:00am
- Lunch: Served between 11:00am - 12:10pm
How To Register
Registration begins March 17th for Erie Catholic families. A registration packet will be emailed and sent home in take-home folders. Erie Catholic families are asked to return all paperwork by April 4th to secure their spot. If availability remains, registration will then open to the public.
If your child is not currently an Erie Catholic student, fill out the waitlist form below and you will be notified when public registration is available.
- Erie Catholic Registration - Early Bird: March 17th - April 4th
- Open Registration: April 7th - April 30th
- Final Paperwork Deadline: May 2nd
Please note all paperwork and the registration must be submitted to secure your child's registration. If all paperwork is not submitted by May 2nd, your child will not have a spot in the program and will not be able to attend.
Age groups are based on the grade your child will enter in Fall 2025. All preschoolers must be potty-trained and have previously attended a preschool program. Field trip and bus costs are included in the weekly rate. Submit registration with a $30 non-refundable registration fee per child.
Weekly rates includes breakfast, lunch, snack, and field trips. The Erie Catholic 2025 Summer Program sites -- Saint James School and Our Lady of Peace School -- are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (PA DHS) and operate in compliance with state regulations.
